Construction of four mosques in northern Syria
In cooperation with the GRT Global Relief Trust, the Turkish Religious Endowment and a donation from philanthropists, we built several mosques in different areas in the Afrin region, due to the lack of mosques and centers in that region. These mosques and centers enable residents to gather, worship, and carry out daily social activities. These centers are very necessary for children as they can gather after school to memorize the Qur’an, stay away from images of war, and promote their social activities.
These mosques are:
- Sajid Ibrahim Mosque:
The Sajid Ibrahim Mosque was built in the village of Bandarak in the Rajo district of the Afrin region. This mosque serves the people of the village, which has a population of 640, and the surrounding villages, which have a population of 1,800. - Khatun Mosque:
The Sajid Ibrahim Mosque was built in the village of Qarbaba in the Rajo district of the Afrin region. This mosque serves the residents of the village, which has a population of 590, and the surrounding villages, which have a population of 1,400. - Hasina Ocadia Mosque:
